Citizenship and Naturalization
We really are 15 countries, and it's really remarkable that
each of us thinks we represent the real America. The Midwesterner in Kansas, the black American in Durham -- both are certain
they are the real American.

As cliché as it sounds, America
is and has always been a nation of immigrants and continues to be the desired destination for many throughout the world. We
can help you realize your dream of becoming a part of America’s multi-colored and multi-ethnic society. The right to
vote, the freedom to travel, and the inherent pride in becoming an American are but a few benefits that await you.
Through the naturalization process, foreign nationals may become U.S. citizens. The requirements to do so include:- Continuous residence and physical presence in the Untied States;
- With a few exceptions, the ability to read write, and speak English;
- Knowledge and history of U.S history and government;
- Good moral character; and
- Belief in the U.S. Constitution
and the ideals of the government.
In the last few years,
the naturalization process has becoming increasingly complicated. For those with a less than a perfect past, the process can
be especially cumbersome. Our lawyers can help you identify potential pitfalls in your application, such as past criminal
convictions or other serious errors of judgment, and present your case in the best light possible. To learn about how we can
help you, contact us to arrange for a consultation.
